The waste hot water and steam generated in the recovery process (such as oil refining, EO/EG, styrene, EVA, polypropylene, caprolactam, etc.) are used as the driving heat source of the lithium bromide unit to produce cold water at or above 5℃ to meet the needs of process refrigeration。
Taking a petrochemical plant as an example, the hot water heat was recovered by a hot water lithium bromide absorption unit with a total cooling capacity of 41,856kW. Compared with electric refrigeration, the annual operation is 8,000h.
